The investment company donated protective masks to first responders and long-term care facilities.
EAST ORANGE, NJ – When local first responders and long-term care facilities were short on personal protective equipment, one local investment company stepped in to help keep their fellow community members safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. Asden Properties donated 3,000 disposable face masks to the City of East Orange Office of Emergency Management and 2,000 N95 respirator surgical masks to the Township of Maple Shade for distribution to local first responders and long-term care facilities.
Mariana Martinez, Area Property Manager for Asden Properties, coordinated the East Orange donation on behalf of Executive House in East Orange, NJ. “Asden Properties is happy to be able to donate masks to East Orange essential city employees,” said Martinez. “We are glad to be part of the community and look forward to building a relationship with a city that constantly looks out for one another.”
Asden Properties recently took over the management of Woods Edge Apartment Homes in Maple Shade. Shraga Bleeman, Karyl Murray and Karen Lang of Asden Properties, coordinated the Maple Shade donation on behalf of this this newly acquired community. “We greatly appreciate Asden’s generosity during these difficult times,” said Karen McShane, Assistant to Maple Shade Township Manager who received the donation.
Asden Properties was eager to help the communities it serves during these challenging times. Lang added, “It was a pleasure to be able to contribute in some small way – especially to our healthcare heroes here in Maple Shade.”
